Ohio Scottish games are Sat. June 26th at the fairground in Wellington, Ohio. Stan the chairman of the event called me last week and invited us back. He would like us to enter thru the front gate and be there by 9:00am. Admission with the car is FREE. All of us that went last year had a good time. There are games, music ,food and lots to do and swapping lies about MINI'S, Hope to see you there. Doc.

Had a great time last year. Nancy just asked me yesterday when we were going to the Scottish Games so I would say that she is IN too.

 

This is always alot of fun. The Minis take over the British car "show". Let's show up in full force!

 

The MM will be there in the black Mini. I'll be there in the gray..uh.... MINI sized car.

Not me (if anyone has seen me in shorts you know a kilt is NOT an option) but Frank and Doc wore kilts along with 3/4s of the people there.

I love this event and look forward to it each year. There is SO much cool stuff going on. The competitors in the games are amazing.

about 20 cars were there for the Brit car show.

Lots o fun. I recommend everyone block out the last Saturday in June of 2011.

 

Ach, don't sell yourself short! (No pun intended.) Kilts tend to be more flattering on a gentlemen than shorts anyways, no matter the body type. (Plus the ladies really dig 'em! )

Looking forward to pix of the event, kilted or no -- and I'm sure my colleagues on X Marks the Scot would appreciate seeing them as well.
