For the December meeting we will meet at Panera on December 13, 2008 at 9 am. At 10 am we will leave Panera and head for the Christmas Story House.
(this will be highway driving, I know several people have put the MINI's away for the winter.)

Grumpy's has a great breakfast by the way...

Anyone driving home via Route 6 East from Cleveland can see a real leg lamp at my aunt and uncle's house. My uncle Marty makes sure it is in the front window proudly displayed each Christmas.

 

Where do they live along Rt. 6? My parents live on a side street from there.

I was thinking that we HAVE to get a pic of a MINI either in the driveway or in the street in front of the house and submit it to NAM for the calendar next year!!! Hopefully there will be snow that day for the photo's artistic integrity...

OMG-check out the website...there is some cool stuff on it! There is in theme essay contest you can enter about what you really want for Christmas just like Ralphie had to write. Let's see, what should Moose and I wish for? I wonder if Santa can fit a Clubman in his bag so we can really fit in with the group...

 

Hmmm, I can get there buy I don't know the address. So with the help of Google Maps I can tell you they are a couple of houses West of Briar Hill Drive on the North side of the road.
The house is white and has a stone cottage on the West side of the drive way. I'd bet that they would laugh if a bunch of MINI's pulled into their driveway (I'd get a call right away). The drive is a big "U" around the house, so it holds plenty of Cars.

 

Well, as a matter of fact, I have a leg lamp proudly displayed year round and own a Mini!!! Pictures galore welcome! I'm actually hoping to put up my Christmas lights soon and use my house, along with the sweet illumination of electric sex in the window, as our Christmas card front this year.

Now, the bad news...yes, you guessed it, Bob pulling a Bob, I will be out of town for the drive that was my idea!!! I'll gladly throw something into the gift exchange though!!!
