House scenes were shot in Canada, the house was remodeled to look like the movie.

For those of you who use Google Earth, Moose posted a pic of the MINIs in front of the house and its up 
For those of you who aren't familiar with it, its a really cool look at the earth and you can zoom in as much as you want to a location to the point you can see individual homes and such. In some places the details are amazing! For some of the more popular destinations, there are pictures posted that you can get a photographic view of the area....and Moose was the first one to post a pic for the Christmas Story House and its got MINIs in it!
