Hi All,
I bought my 2005 mcs on Saturday. It only has 17k miles! I love it but the owner's manual was not in the car. The Dealer said that he will get me one ---???Anyway, does anyone have advice over servicing? Is Cincy the best or is there a good reason to drive to Indy? Thanks, I may need a lot of help.

Hey, I've got you beat! I bought my '05 MCS last week with only 6700mi!

My only problem: trying to ignore the ricers wanting to race. I'm 63 and it doesn't fit my "image". (at least while the wife is riding shotgun)

Congrats on the new ride. Cinci is great for service, Indy is too. Been to both and I would go to whichever is most convenient. Cinci will drive & retrieve your car for service...very cool...never asked D&R to do that so I don't know if they do.

Hi guys,
Lurking in the background. I just discovered that we had moved to this website. If you want more participation then perhaps the person that has the email addresses from the old site could send a message that we have landed here.

Do you or anyone else out there have an ideas where I can get a service schedule?

I've had my mini 2 months now and I'm not getting the gas mileage I expected in the city--only 20 mpg. Is that expected for the Cooper S?

MPG

I have 2 Minis, both S's. The mileage will vary with the way you drive it. My wife can only get 22-23 due to her foot in it all the time. I can drive "nice" and get 25-26. On the road, it gets 31-33.

That's a great idea...........who's in charge? It was Ron Rogers back in '03.

I've had my '08 Mini for 7 weeks and am getting 26.58 mpg - I don't drive 'nice', but I am pretty smooth, so I don't know if that was reasonable or not. Sounds like I might be doing fairly well -- and having a great time!

I've been getting a consistent 30mpg with mixed driving. I guess it's about 60/40 hwy/ city. But I'm REALLY conservative with my driving. It's a real struggle, 'cause it's fun to put your foot in it!

I've had my 08 for a few months now and I don't even know nor care what the gas mileage is. I drive it like I stole it and I enjoy every minute of it. I didn't buy it for the gas mileage, I bought it for the fun factor. The same goes for my Classic, I drive it with the pedal on the floor. Good times
