Well, we had a typical warm and sunny SoCal Christmas, but now he's back in Indiana, where the weather sucks.

Tit, your Ren & Stimpy still cracks me up when I see it! "Oh Ren." "Oh Stimpy."

Ren & Stimpy are not even in the same league as the Animaniacs. Much funnier, and far better production values.

Also very funny. Pinky & The Brain was part of that, right?

Hi guys: Looking to become the newest member of the group, I'm a Melbourne native but I've been living in the States for 12 years or so. My hyper blue '05 MC will be sporting an aussie flag on the sunroof once the snow melts and the temp gets up above freezing!

Brrrrrr - Vermont - from Northern Maine originally but have managed to visit Australia in 2001, 2002 and 2004. Am arriving again to see my mates over in Sydney Feb 3-11. Would love to meet up with some some Sydney MINI owners! Also may I join if I promise to eat a jar of Vegamite while I'm over there this time? :-)

Thanks for help with logo.On importation of Minis from Us to Canada went to govt website. They list what you can bring in and what restrictions or changes have to be made.New minis 02-06 no problem except bi-lingual visors and kph stickers. The rest is paperwork and emission and safety inspections.Older minis 15 year rule applies ie no restrictions other than safety and some emission standards.Any one leaving for a visit or exporting without notice is a big No No.Importing to Us requires an agent according to Us website.I did my import myself and drove it back.On a note which you will find interesting,List prices for Minis in the Us + exchange +duty(6.1%) + vat are still alot cheaper than Canadian dealer pricing. The only problem is upon export you lose free maintenance and your warranty is reduced to 2 years from date of export. What I have done is look for low mileage 2 year old units so the lose of some warranty is no big deal.Any one looking to get a low mileage unit can cll me if they need help.

Aussie factoid #n+1
Most Australians also think that Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter) is a lunatic who needs to be locked up for his own protection.

Good to know that "Steve Irwin is an idiot" can be considered a "safe topic" of conversation. Thanks, Agro!

I think I have to agree with that!

I used to email a guy who worked for Queensland Rail. Haven't heard from him in a couple of years, though. Does that qualify me to join the group????

PLEASE?!?!?

ok ok....lets make this for public record - Me-in-a-MINI is the other distributor of the NAMAHAC passes.....I'm moving into a house without internet, and consequently my ability to administer this logistical goliath will be impeded! (temporarily)

So...hopefully not too late:

Soo...

#18 - usaaus - because you're from Australia's greatest state
#19 - krut - because you love vegimite so much!!
#20 - snoopy - why haven't you asked yet?? (or did I miss that??)
#21 - Greatbear - of course you can have one!!
#22 - Miska - only if you try to get hold of your mate in QLD
#27 - Liam - what took you so long??

You can all collect your badges from my sig.... ::
