Mark took these pictures yesterday. FYI, at future gatherings, it'd probably be a good idea to try to get all the attending vehicles lined up at some point so everyone who wants to can get some really good pictures.

What was the final count of MINIs yesterday? I think I remember hearing 17. Was anyone else just floored at the number??

 

We were amazed and so excited by the turnout for Saturday's drive. We were hoping for maybe 10 cars. It is great to see so many new faces and Mini's. Anybody out there that wants to set up a drive for their part of the state, let us know. We can publicize it on the AMOK website. We enjoyed your pictures above. Maybe next time we can be a little better organized and have some more photo ops. More radios in the lineup of cars are helpful and maps are good also.

Oh yeah, the number of cars that went on the drive was 16 and then Jeff B.'s aunt Sherry stopped by afterward at Java with her new '08.

 

I had a really good time and it was great to get to meet everybody! I'm going to second the mention of more radios and maps (or at least a published route so we could study it beforehand). There were some times where Fermin and I were really wondering where in the world we were and we were thinking it would be bad news to get seperated.

Overall it was a lot of fun to get out and really see what my MINI could actually do. It is a lot flatter around here and I've not had much chance at twisty roads. Wow, Minerva is more talented than I had ever imagined!
