Phat Bonnet Stripe Pics

After about an hour and a half and a bit of stress, Nicodemus is now decked out in black Phat bonnet stripes care of Aesthetic Creations. If you've been thinking about adding vinyl stripes to you MINI, I recommend using the wet application method. I think this would've been a disaster trying to apply such wide stripes with the traditional dry method. The wet application can be found here.

I'm liking the final result. They give him a bit of an attitude. They're not as pointed as they appeared on the AC website, but they're nice regardless.

And a bit better shot of his rear.

very nice..
I have $190 to spend on my car.. Christmas gifts in the way of a check from mom and daughter offered to get me union jack mirror caps, or something else I like to the tune of about $140.
I don't think i want the UJ caps, the red red might clash w/my nfr and I'm just over the the whole uj think, i have 3 on it already.. I think it is enough.

So I was thinking about getting chrome mirror caps and retro gas cap. What do you guys think?

Now just shave that Roadshow emblem off the car and add some boot(y) stripes!

I like the stripes with a bit of curve...I think they show the MINI's curves off.

Tough call Tess. So many options...so little money...or at least that's the situation I'm always in. I think I'm pretty well finished with adding graphics (other than maybe a shorter antenna) for quite a while. The only other thing I really want to change is the wheels, but that's going to take a lot of saving to do.

Yeah, I want nicer wheels too, and they nicer they are the more they cost. I want some that sparkle in the sunlight! :-)

Ain't that the truth! I'm the opposite though - I want something nice and black. Anyway, as to your original question I didn't address, have you thought of the various vinyl graphics? They're not invasive and are generally very affordable. I don't remember right off hand if El Toro had any bonnet stripes, but there are all kinds from which to choose. There are also lots of side swooshes and smaller graphics. Just a thought.
