well, i'm not 100% sure that I am going, but I did make a room reservation!

of course, if I decide I can't make it, I will post the room here on NAM.
This will be my 3rd AMVIV.

Wouldn't miss it for the world.

Killer event, and yes there is Beer.

Hi Agro,

The VB and Tim Tams are already packed for you. No need to pay as I owe you some from last time. Looking forward to catching up. Just cant decide whether to keep the rental MINI or just wing it and catch rides with others!!

Brad,
Is this really our 3rd year.... Just seems like yesterday that we were "newbee's" The Palace Station sure under-estimated the quantities of beer that could be consumed by this group last year.!! "Keep the rubber side down 'n the Shine'y side up" .

We are visiting from Australia and looking to meet as many people as possible. There will be one single guy and myself and husband so will be looking for rides on the day trips etc but we are willing to split up and go in different cars.

There may be some of the famous Aussie VB in it for anyone willing to offer a seat!!!

Steinies are what I drink at my house here. VB is what I drink in Aus. It's a pretty fair trade. Steinlager has won more international awards than almost any beer in the world, but it's not what I grew up with.

Actually, all he has to do is hang out with Agro. Agro will shake every man's hand and hug every woman at AMVIV. You can't help but meet people if you're with him.

2 things on a good day.
I tend not to gudday at people as it's kind of stereotypical. I'll often "Morning!" at you at any time of the day or night (it's ALWAYS morning somewhere!) or I may "Greetings" at you. If it's been a long day/night/weekend/time period of choice, I may just grunt a non-specific greeting. Please take such grunting as a "Gruntings and salivations!" version of "greetings and salutations".

Oh yeah, I'm also quite shy, I just try not to let it get in the way of my social life and hide it well.

Sounds good to me! Guess I'll have to look into coming! Though it will be without Sir Alfred, the drive is just too long from Atlanta.

See y'all in Vegas!

You do know that Sir Alfred will be very lonely, and you'll have to make it up to him, take him out for a nice drive and show him pictures from the trip.

I guess I'll be adding to the apparently large contingent of single males at this event.

Sad news, Agro - Due to the current situation with taking liquids on board we can only take alcohol purchased at the duty free at the airport. I guess they dont trust us not to tamper with it before arriving at the airport. This means that we may not be able to bring beer OR rum. Will certainly try our best and still scoping the situation but get a different story every time we try. At least we can bring the Tim Tams!!
