MINI iPod adapter for sale

Price reduced $70 Buyer needs to purchase cable, part # listed below,or I need the connectors to fix the stock harness.
Performed an Ipodaectomy Removed the Ipod adapter out our 2003 Mini non HK. I can sell the adapter for $70 plus SHI Paypal is OK. The wire shown in the photo,I had to keep on the radio ,it must jumper something together, the radio did not work without it.

ummm, if you are not including that connection "wire" ( which is part of the iPod interface kit) the rest of the kit is unusable, and worthless without it.

OK I don't know that for a fact, because
, my radio did not work with it removed
so from the process of deduction ,because I don't have a bunch of Minis to take apart, that wire must be installed on all Mini's or a substitute that would jump the connections back together that is removed when the Ipod adapter is installed, that I would need if someone would by this . ...

Yep, it's a fact! It is NOT installed on all Mini's, the reason your radio won't work is that in order to install the iPod adapter, it is necessary to modify the original radio wiring. If you remove the adapter, you may need to return the wiring back to factory. MF has the install PDF, http://www.motoringfile.com/files/mi...structions.pdf, just "undo" the changes in it, and you should be good to go!

Strangely enough.. i do need the white wire you have pictured (i think) I believe I can use this to connect to my Dension unit (anyone?) and replace my broken cradle/wire.

So if you decide to sell that one wire (white w/ipod plug) alone, let me know.

Thanks for the link ,but it won't work ,probably my dialup is too slow.If somebody can get me the required wire jumpers ,I could go back into the dash and remove the black wire harness.

finally read the PDF file

Hi, cutting the cars wiring harness and installing a different type of plug end on those four wires is how the Ipod adapter is installed. I would have to cut them back off and find the very small square original type connectors that plug into the back of the radio ,to undo the Ipod install. Or I could cut off the four Ipod wires on the Ipod wiring harness and butt splice those ends back on my original wires , the buyer would have to source the bullet connectors and the square type. Or leave the black harness on mine and forget it,and/or sell the remaining parts cheaper?? Either way its probably too much trouble and I'll just put the thing on a shelf.
