FS: Magnaflow muffler (resonator)

Do you want (or need) to tame your exhaust volume just a bit? You changed to an aftermarket catback or header (or both) and your MINI is no longer passing the SO test?

If you want/need to tone it down a bit and you have a catback with no resonator or a small resonator up front just behind the flange from the header, adding a cylindrical straight through muffler in that spot can make a significant difference.

I was fed up with my Larini catback on my MC and about to chuck it out because though I loved the quality of the Larini note I couldn't take the quantity of the sound. I decided to try a Magnaflow muffler as a resonator to see if I could salvage the system and it worked like a charm!

I used a 6" diameter x 14" Mag and it's a very tight fit. This extra Mag muffler I'm offering has a 4" outside diameter canister that's 14" long - the core is 2" ID and it has 3" long end pipes on both ends of the canister (as seen below).

To make a 14" canister fit in that space the end pipes have to be cut down a bit, but it can be done - I'm not the only one who has done it.

This UNused Mag (still in the box) is all stainless and the can is polished, just like the one in the pic.

Check it out at Magnaflow's site if you like here. I paid $64 delivered from Summit. You can have this one for $40 + actual shipping from 20646 (boxed, it weighs about 7 lbs).
