Who wants a Carbon Fiber Splitter?

Ok guys, I have an opportunity to sell some Carbon Fiber Splitters at a very good price but before I take them on as part of my product line I want to find out from you if there is interest in them.
This will be a Limited Supply Special for only $230 each! MSRP on these is $499 (can we say OMG!) The splitter(edit) fits the Cooper S model (except if you have the Aerokit), you will need to drill holes under your bumper for attachment.
Please leave comments and feedback so I know what you think
As always thanks for looking. If anyone would like to order these please send an email to Sales@rogueunderground.net and I will start a pre-order list.

Thanks for looking guys

Mug-I know what you mean, I had a friend drive through a big puddle and rip his off :P (ok it wasn't a puddle, it was a monsoon and he was going 80mph! LOL )

BD-I can't remember who makes that scoop, it's HUGE!

These things are great!!! I had one for about 2 days until some Road debris in SC along 95 took it out. It was very simple to install took only 15 minutes. IT really is a work of art and a great price! My only suggestion is not to install on a lowered Mini I learned the hard way...but that's not a surprise to me LOL -- Johan

Wow thanks Johan! Glad you like them...sorry it got ripped off though...I would definately suggest NOT putting them on a lowered MINI...unless you are a really slow driver (which I some how doubt if you're putting one on your car) LOL

Lowered Mini

I have one on mine and its lowered with 40 series tires.I love the way it looks. Makes the car look more aggresive The bottom scrapes but it still looks good. Just have to be careful on steep driveways and speed bumps.

What, no RogueMinis eyes on the demo car photos?
-10 pts for lack of style.

Seriously, it looks really cool and I'd love to have a splitter, especially at that price, but with the way I drive it would be gone in less than a month.

Kudos for finding a cool part at a great price.

Just a question: Is this a REAL splitter or the CF one (M7 look alike) that you can buy cheap on ebay? Knowing how you work SG, I would bet it's high quality, but other's might want to know.

if you arent gonna buy one... why are you detracting from someone trying to make an honest buck? just wondering

bump for a good deal.. i LOVE my M7 splitter, true i scrape it every now and then, but i can tell you the consensus fear... if you have it on the car, you are going to be extra careful

Sounds like a phenominal deal and I'm possibly interested, but I want to watch this thread and see how many say they love theirs vs. ones who have damaged theirs or tore them off completely from "normal" driving.

Thanks for all the responses, lets see if I can answer some questons;
I've seen the M7 one and they don't look the same, the M7 one is a thin strip of carbon Fiber that uses metel front mo0unts, this one is a molded peice and attacheds under the bumper.

These splitters are indeed high quality, the people that I know who had them, loved them but yes unfortunately sometimes if you're not use to having a lowered car you can rip them off just like anything else on your car, especially if road junk flies out in front of you (eek!). It's all about being aware of what you have, plain and simple. Lowering your car or adding things like splitters are a commitment on the drivers part (kind of like owning a puppy...but it doesn't eat as much or get fleas).

How can it be bling and useless? It's clearly usable as bling if you call it that. Your post lacks logic

LOL hahahaha look what I found, I was going to argue that something of Carbon fiber couldn't be concedered bling but according to this I suppose it could be. I like the last sentance, it's wording makes me giggle

"Bling-bling" (sometimes shortened to simply "bling") is a hip hop slang term which refers to expensive jewelry and other accoutrements, and also to an entire lifestyle built around excess spending and ostentation. In its essence, the term refers to the exterior manifestation of one's interior state of character, normally displayed through various forms of visual stimuli.

I've had one for over 6 months now, with my car lowered on H-sports...no problems, as long as you pay attention while driving (and I live in NY btw)

Sounds interesting Stoo... although I don't think I'll get one before the winter... but in the spring I may just take you up on this. Either way it's one hell of a deal. this type of splitter is usually a good bit more expensive from what I've seen.
