Sorry, thought everyone knew what the aero kit looks like.

The ones I'm selling are new in box. (didn't want to open box)

If you can't find a pic, give me a day or so and I'll open the box up and take pics.

Sorry DEye, there is no part number for just the skirts. You'd have to buy the entire 1400 kit to get the skirts...





The kit is for MINI COOPER & S 2002 - 2006 (doesn't matter if it's an S or not for just the side skirts)

 

I wanted to see a pic to see if they were painted or not.

 

he says they're still sealed in the box, so that means they're unpainted, i assume

 

MINI's own ETK lists the skirts, in fact it lists all the individual Aero Kit components.

Well, I'm embarassed... I guess you can buy them from Outmotoring. I was told at the dealership that you had to buy them as a set. Thanks Gnat, it's great to know.

Just for the record, the side skirt kits from Outmotoring are 497.95 for the pair PLUS shipping. They weigh 70 lbs.

I'm selling these for 400 INCLUDING shipping.

For anyone that wants them painted, I will prep and paint them. My bodyshop (s) have been in business for 12 years and EVERYTHING we do is by word of mouth and referall only. We're not even in the phonebooks. You can do a search for Collision Specialties, Inc in Indian Trail, NC.

I mention Indian Trail because there is some other shop with the same name in NC. and I'm constantly get threats from the gov't about freezing my bank accts. but it's not Collision Specialties Body and Paint, Inc., it's Collision Specialties Paint and body, Inc.

Anyway, all I ask is you send me a tow hook cover to match the paint. I will prep, (AND I ASSURE YOU THEY WILL NEED TO BE PREPPED CORRECTLY....fiberglass never comes ready to paint) tint, refinish and wetsand and buff them for 400.00 add'l dollars. (that's the price we charge a local dealer for side skirts and they spend over 100K a year JUST in painting bodykit parts with us)

I opened the boxes and found you are correct, they ARE plastic based. Since they won't take as much to prep and paint them, I will still sell them for 400.00 bucks including shipping anywhere in the continental US.

I will prep, prime, block, paint and wetsand and buff them for an add'l 300 for any factory color.

Here's an actual pic of side skirt and accessories.

 

can you tell me if they will fit a 2006 cabrio? thank you.

Okay guys, here's a general post instead of responding to my overfilled mailbox. Right now, no, I don't want to ship to Guam, Germany, Canada or the Netherlands.

I don't mean that rudely, it's just the reason I included shipping to the continental US is so I could get someone's address, make one trip to the post office and leave the package there.... not keep running back and forth to have them check it out to let me know how much it will be to differnet destinations.

Again, not meant to be rude, just don't have time to do the things I need to, let alone running back and forth to the post office....

So, I'd like to stay stateside on the shipping and see if it sells. If not, then we'll look into it.

Where'd you ever get the idea for getting the color from the tow hook cover?

To the rest... Mark just painted a Palo Uber hood scoop for me and it was INCREDIBLE! He matched the paint exactly there's no way to tell the difference in paint between the original 2005 hood and the 2008 scoop. I recommend him highly.

Funny guy....

The ironic part is I usually won't use anything smaller than a gas cap lid. YOUR great idea of sending me the little tow hook cover actually was big enough for me to tint the paint. It worked perfect.

And thanks for the kudos, we aim to please. Not to hijack my own thread but we put paint on your scoop today... I should be shipping it out Monday or Tuesday.
