fits only 02-04 r53 mini's. i've read lots of good reviews about this closed-top cold air intake and pulled the trigger on it, but found a cheaper intake and decided to go with the more cost-effective, used intake.

the picture below shows the top off of the intake; once installed the top encloses the filter and the unit.

I have this intake and it is a nice piece but it is a pain to get lined up and stay together if you leave the factory snorkel like they say you can. Mine also hits on the hood liner a bit. Other than those 2 flaws it is a GREAT intake for the money! Best of luck on the sale.
