I would say the parade is not happening. Nothing has been organized & it's getting kinda late to do so now. I plan to drive the Hwy 25 twisties the Grants Mill Road to the dealership. If anyone wants to ride them with me let me know & I will arrange to meet you somewhere on Hwy 280 (around Hwy 43, East of 119)

WOOHOO!!! T-Shirts will be delivering tomorrow So I will be able to deliver them at the Grand Opening after all

 

Jane and I will not be able to make it on Thursday. I am on duty at the fire station. I thought I would be able to get off, but life gets in the way... Hope everyone has a large time. We hope to see everyone in Nov. at the meet and eat.

I asked if anyone wanted to organize it but no one stepped up Something like that would take a good bit of work & I just have too much on my plate right now to have done it justice

 

I'm about 90% sure that I'm not going to make it at all now. I have a job in Mobile today. It is 4:30am and I'm up . I'm going to try to get the job done and get back so I can make it. But if not someone take some pictures and Video and post them. Thanks.

 

Just returned from the big GRAND OPENING! Had a great time! Nice to see so many people turned out considering the soggy weather. Good to see some faces from the BAMA board, too!

Wife & I went to the MOB Party last night. It was awesome! I can't believe how much they put into doing it. The valet parking for the MINIs was an extra cool touch. Luckily the rain stopped, but since it was so wet we left the R50 at home and just took the Clubman. (The R50 doesn't like to get wet.) Kudos to MINI of Birmingham; GREAT job!
