Not officially. The question was asked & I think there is no policy in place yet. Lionel Rutter would probably be the person to ask if you go up there though

The MOB Boss wants to know if we car club members are still interested in doing a parade lap around Birmingham the day of the Grand Opening? We will have to organize and orchestrate it ourselves since he will be tied up with the grand opening events. Mark can send something to all the customers that have bought or serviced a car since MOB opened (about 375 people) to get participation up.

Let me know what you guys think of doing a parade & we will decide if we should attempt it

Hey TT! Unless our band has a gig that night (hey, musician's gotta eat), I will be available the entire day! I'll see if I can round up some MINI owners up here in my neck o' the woods~

 

gotta work that day, might can slide out a little early but it may be a game time decision. I will definitely be at the dealership after work.

 

If anyone can step up & organize a parade run please do. I, unfortunately, am leaving early Friday morning for a weekend at the Tail of the Dragon so I have too much on my plate to organize this. I will be at the grand opening & I am 99% that I can participate in a parade.

Had a good suggestion from a member saying one way to parade perhaps is to have several parades starting from different locations all meeting at MOB around the same time )

Soooo anyone who can organize a parade please take the ball & run with it!!

Well it looks like I may not be able to do the parade but will be at the party. I need to work more than do the parade so I'm out now. To bad the Grand Opening wasn't planned for the weekend.
