Morgan Creek Winery has their Grapestomp on September 15th from 10am – 4pm. http://www.morgancreekwinery.com/
There will be live music, a Lucy look-a-like contest, grape stomping, wine tasting, cheese munching and lots of general silliness, and fun stuff for the kids too.
Ruben Greenwood has spoken with Mrs. Margarete Roundtree about us brining our Little British Cars down for the event. Before long, a plan was formed. Mrs Roundtree is 75 and has a 1936 Ford that she has been restoring for some years. She loves cars. The Winery will provide us with a reserved area for our cars to park and display. She would like this to be on a small scale a show for the cars. Other details on this will follow, I will update as I hear the news.
The preliminary plan is to start the drive from Helena around 8am and drive to Montevallo, turn left towards Calera, continue along to Harpersville to arrive around 9:30 – 10am. This is about a 60 mile drive.
Ruben has invited the Bama Mini Club to ride along with us, he will also contact Ron Pardo from the Montgomery British Car Club to meet us at the Winery.
By the way, Mrs. Roundtree may ask you for a ride in your car, I feel sure we will oblige her, It's really a fun day and nice location, invite anyone you think would enjoy a good grape stomp, bring the kids, any questions contact Ruben at

This sounds like a wonderful day and would love to share it again with some more of those little british cars, but tis football season has started, and for some reason folks like to watch college football on those picture things call TV's. So for this to happen I must stand aside and do my job, but wishing I could be driving with a turn left and a turn right and downshift here and mash of the gas. Hope if this happens you all have a wonderful time. I catch ya next time.
