Basic Electrical DIY Clinic
I will be doing a basic electrical DIY clinic on April 28th at 4:00pm and will last approximately an hour. The location will be at the DIY tent. This clinic will go over basic electrical theory and how to wire accessories into your car. If you already know how to this, then this clinic will not benefit you. It is designed to help individuals who have wanted to tackle wiring accessories such as LEDs under their dash, adding driving lights, powering up gauges, etc., but are skeptical on doing it. I will have my rat rod R53 "Lilith" there to show some examples of wiring and accessories.
Some that will be covered are:
How to install a battery disconnect switch
How to install LEDs
How to read wiring diagrams
How to tap into circuits
Installing resistors in circuits
Adding fuses into circuits
Diagnosing faults
I'll have 20 copies of an electrical DIY booklet I wrote. Again, this is goingbto be a real simple session to get owners to realize thatbthey can do some of their own electrical work on their cars. If anybody has any questions or comments, shoot me a PM. Take care all
