Hard time? You're number 10 then....

Right Click on User CP in the left panel in this thread and open the link in a new window.

In the new window click on 'Edit Signature'

Go into the box and paste the line below, removing all of the spaces (that I've inserted so you can see the text):

[u rl="http://ww w.northamericanmotoring.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57569"][img]http://www.northa mericanmotoring.com/gallery/data/1001/NAMAHACBadge.jpg?7722[/im g]#10

Then click on save signature.

I will be looking for submissions from my fellow country mates as well, so put your thinking caps on

1) The Australian national anthem can be sung to the tune of the theme song from "Gilligans Island"
Please do continue to enlighten us non-Aussies! That fact alone makes emigration ever more appealing!

My second cousin's married to an Aussie and they live in Brisbane, Queensland. Does that count for honourary Aussie citizenship?

It's fairly cheap to Visit Aus right now. Qantas.com has flights from LA to Sydney for about $900 US, and they have this cool travelpass thing where you get to do a loop of 3 other cities in Aus for as low as US$999.

2) Emus and Kangaroos cannot walk backwards, which is why they feature on our coat of arms

Nope. Sorry mate. I've looked into it for bringing Mum over. The flights have to originate in the States. Qantas.com has different prices than qantas.com.au

My wife's cousins live in Victoria. They keep asking us to visit. Does this count? Can I get #57 or going in order?

Yes, behind New Zealand.

Did you know that the Sydney Swans are going to be playing the Kangaroos in LA in mid January?

Is that because Chinese new year causes their calendar to not match ours?

From the Sydney Morning Herald......
The V8 Supercars proposed round at China's Shanghai International Circuit in June next year has to be rescheduled after it was rejected by the Federation of Automobile Sports of China (FASC).
V8 Supercars Australia has been told the proposed date of June 10-12 does not suit the Chinese calendar and that the FASC had informed the world governing body Federation Internationale de L'Automobile (FIA) to withdraw it from the 2006 calendar.
Australian officials remain optimistic the round will still go ahead after making a spectacular debut at the circuit earlier this year.

Pfft....we should take the V8's to the US - they'd be appreciated waaaaaaaay more over there!! They'd probably be surprised cars like that can do more than just drive around in a circle...
