To kill time while waiting...

I decided to move my 3 old web hosting plans (for three different domains) into one new one with more features for less $, and get the DNS pointed in the right direction, all by talking to a nice fellow who though he had a good command of English had a accent so thick I simply could not make out what he was trying to say... I'll just wait a couple hours and see what happens. On both counts.

The second Registration opens, the gates will be hell... I will feel sorry for the servers and the banks will be looking and they will thin k the market went to all craps... (due to the all the sudden bank transactions and the server overloads..)

yea, I am a nerd... I am telling you Mark is holding back to watch us squirm. He is kicking back in his chair getting a chuckle... Like ants and the magnifying glass....

Mark, Just kidding, I am sure there is "important" paperwork to be done..

but really he is ..

Or he's waiting to see who else will join the rebel ALLIANCE and crush the evil empire.
I find your lack of faith disturbing... (sound of breathing through a regulator).

Sorry about that last part, but I have resorted to watching old Star Wars movies in order to pass the time.

I don't know. I bought an iMac last week and registered it. I also bought a new MINI three months ago... I had to renew the vehicle registration this month.

You guys crack me up. I'm working on it right now trying to collect all the myriad pieces of information that have to be included from all the coordinators. Not only that but we're still trying to get final costs on the big tent we have to have this year to support some dinners, registration, a vendor area, etc. At least this year EVERYONE will have the opportunity to get dinners each night if they want them. No headcount limits for the dinners mean that everyone is going to be welcome

Stay tuned and keep eating those cookies...I've been working 18 hour days on this, training a new developer, and getting other information together. I know everyone is looking forward to the event. I am too but I'll also be glad when I can sleep in on May 5th

Mark

So the idea of you making discounted prices for ALLIANCE members is out the window...

Or is it...

Unfortunately its not something that I can do. The Alliance membership costs support the magazine and development costs of the program. Also, MOTD, as compared to other car events is already at a pretty low cost. If someone would like to step up and take all the event coordination and software stuff on I would be happy to make their registration free

oh man...you guys is so funny! I brought fresh milk...are there still cookies?

Mark, this is become a..well, I guess, Dragon tradition..

The Champing at the Bit for Registration..

Once you get to the Dragon, you will understand the scope of this event. Lots and lots and lots of details to take care of, so that everyone has a space, food to eat and a place to eat it...
and on and on.

I have faith in Mark..he's done a pretty good job in past years..
