Just a note, I personally dislike youtube becuase of the video quality and the fact you can't save them to your hard drive (at least I don't know how) for enjoyment when the internet and dishnetwork is out. If someone wants to provide hosting so that everyone can have access to a DVD quality copy, please let me know. File size is 103 megs.

Enjoy!
Great Video! Thanks for using YouTube, even with the lower quality...

Is it April 30 Yet?!

Ooh, can I add mine too?

Here's one with a bit different camera position, also a wide angle supplementary lens. This coming year I'm going to shoot in in widescreen 16:9 to get more peripheral vision and more of a sense of motion. Looking at it now many months later I think I should remove most of the first 5 minutes and edit it down to mostly the last 4-5...

Youtube conversions

Yes you can download from Youtube, but the trick is having a program to convert the file from FLV to MPG, AVI or whatever format you want.
I download from this site: http://www.videodl.org/ and save it using whatever name I want plus I add the .flv extension so that it will convert easily. Now once you have saved it you'll need to convert it, google youtube converters and you'll find many.
There is a site called www.convertyoutube.com that will automatically convert it to any time of format you wish but it has been slow and problematic in the past (possible adware/spyware) .

Great video by the way... Maybe this year one of us can put enough video together to make a DVD for everyone to enjoy.

PM if you need more info on how to download.

See ya at MOTD 2008

If anyone actually wants it, I have my video in DVD format in good quality. I just downgraded it to a small enough version to import to youtube. If someone wants one PM me.

WARNING: This video may not be suitable for all audiences

After watching your video on YouTube I ran into another Dragon video that just made my stomach turn.
This video represents all the reasons why the THP is up at the Dragon trying to run off idiots like these guys.
I warn you that if you watch this video it will make you mad..
And if any of you drive like these guys do, please do us all a favor and don't show up.
The mark of a great driver is one that can control their car and keep it within the constraints of its own lane.

Yup, that's criminal. I don't understand idiots like that. If they want to drive in a straight line they should stay on I-81!

Maybe the Law could put those tire shredders you can only run over in one direction safely at some the apexs on the inside lane of some of the turns. Then those that crossed the yellow would get a nice expensive lesson.

I saw that one the other day aswell. As soon as I got finished watching it I went right to my closet and pulled out my miniDVs and searched for a full and clean run i got last year with the camera rolling on the left front wheel. No line crossing. I encoded the whole thing (added some music of course) and uploaded it to you tube that night. it's in my profile now (i'll get a link up later for the lazy).

No lane crossing but, if one were to take that video at face value I'd say it looks like you never dropped below 50-60 mph in a 35 mph zone. I dare say you did a 2x on that video?

Video speed doubled so that it would fit on youtube and I've always felt vacucams at normal speed look like you're moving at a snails pace.
