I know it sounds silly but I am gonna be making a camcorder movie while I am up there so if you see my mini with a driver wearing a helmet just wave and laugh... You will probly see us in different places pulled over and a camera in the ditch in some places.... and if anyone would like to voulenteer to do about 10 minutes of video for me I would like to get a follow shot if possible... Just PM me if so. I will post this movie after it is complete.. I am gonna try this for the first time so don't laugh to hard when you see.. (at least not without me laughin with you ) Its gonna be fun... so I will see ya there!! throw up a hand or toot at the black helmet mini!!

P.S. I am not gonna be pulling crazy stunts on the dragon so no worries about danger I want it to be good not crazy unsafe... I just don't want anyone to be able to pinpoint the driver thats the reason for the helmet...

With all the great adhesives on the market why not glue that camera to your noggin? Or if you really want to wear the helmet you should be wearing a nomex suit to complete the look.

I must admit...I opened this thread based on curiousity about the title...MINI driver with a helmet...lots of things came to mind LONG before the thought of a video camera.

 

Heyy, I'm looking fward to seeing the video too. I'm not gonna be able to get down to MOTD until Thursday evening, but I'm bringing down my brand new VacuCam!!! I can't wait to start filming! maybe you and I could callaborate...

I do need a vacucam angle!! I really don't want to have to strap the whole camera to the door of car...

I just need to let my friend drive my car while I stand in some ones sunroof for a couple of shots from behind..... the whole movie will be north to south and I hope to have everything in order so I can name the curves during the movie....

I got the delux kit with the Ball Mount, so i can actually mount it to the glass on the roof too, facing foward, facing backward.... let me know
