I'm the kind of person who likes options.

So I figured I'd post a couple designs I was thinking of and get a reaction to make sure I'm on a good path.

I mean, I don't want you to buy a shirt you're only going to wear once. So, in no order, I was thinking of 2 different designs. I will label them "A" and "B" (complex... i know)

DESIGN A- (procrastination theme)

Let me know what you think. If the crowd goes wild for one then we'll go with it, otherwise I can always go back to the drawing board.

I could also go white on black shirt. Whatever your comments, don't be shy!

of course I am partial to anything with the screaming man
(but I will be happy with either design)

p.s... black is my preference but white is OK if everyone prefers
p.s.s... in shirt B, the left square w/the dragon on it, what does it say in the bar going across. might it be "procrastination"?

 

Ditto that, prefer black for it's "slimming effect"

 

Ben, you may want to add something into the design mentioning the location, i.e., "Fontana Village, North Carolina" and the actual date, "May 3, 2007."

My two cents-worth (worth less since I am not attending the NSW Dinner):

I like the little wings logo, but over the left breast; the 3 box design would be very cool on the back of the shirt!

Off to a very good start with those designs!

 

OK I SPAMMED everybody that had expressed an interest in the T-Shirt to let them know there was a design up (except iflymini, your box is full ). sry grover I spammed you too before I remembered you had already seen it.

 

By the looks of things, it's gonna be just me.

But it also looks like there's gonna be some mighty fine company.

BTW, every time I see this thread title, I see it as the "Not Safe for Work Dinner". I guess this is due to my constantly running into internet topics of a less-than-wholesome nature.

The designs look great. I guess I'm leaning towards "B" but whatever it ends up to be is fine. Designing by committee can be challenging at best. The date and location would be nice as long as it doesn't clutter things up too much but again I'll leave it up to the person taking the time to put it together. Thanks.

 

I like the three-box design, although I can't really tell what the first one's supposed to be. The wings logo is a little sparse, however. Could just do a front-only design with something below the boxes, like "We're not welcome. MotD 5 / 2007.05.03"

 

Oh, and rock on with your bad self for doing those designs! Far be it for me to criticize when I can't even draw a straight line with a ruler...

 

I like "B" it will make people look twice.

 

I like "b" myself, but it's gonna be a helluva inside joke, cause nobody outside of NAM is going to know what the hell is in the squares! (except maybe the spork!)

 

I'd order a "B".

 

Thanks so much to all the feedback on the design. Looks like everyone dug "B" better so I went with that. I decided to keep the NSW logo off of it since it seemed like you guys really like the thought of the inside joke bit (and after looking at it more it just didn't fit the design of the boxes)

(oh... and ashboomstick, that center image is SO a "sporknif". it gracefully combines a spoon, fork, and knife!)

Sure, bring the wings back. You can't see both sides of the shirt at the same time anyway. Nice job.

 

Black is good. Design per post 140 is good. All is good.
NSW Wings would be good too - so now, front or back? Maybe you should keep us guessing on the final version Shank. Let it be a surprise!
