5th Annual MINIs on the Dragon (May 3-6, 2007)The 5th Anniversary of the largest MINI event in the nation. Ready to take your turn trying to tame the Dragon?
I had a awesome time the only complaint that I have is I had a friend that was gonna go for a ride in my car while I played and he was gonna come in a watch for a few minutes before the midnight run and he wasn't allowed in to come over there with me because he wasn't registered.. I think that is a little silly its not like he could play anything so why was he not able to come in with me?? other than that it was really fun!!
I know it's not easy to see from an individual perspective, but we had to consider all the guests, the two most important reasons we couldn't let people in without paying for a ticket were 1. the open bar (it would be too difficult to monitor people who hadn't purchased a ticket being at the bar) and 2. space constraints. While one person wouldn't matter, once you allow it for one person, you have to allow it for all. We had to give consideration to everyone attending the event who paid the $25.00 to be there. If everyone there brought just one person, we would have had double the amount of people, half of which hadn't paid for a ticket. We did what we thought was best for our paying guests. I'm sure you can understand our circumstances - we had to require a ticket for entrance to be fair to all attending. I apologize for any inconvenience this caused for you.
I'm so happy to hear that you still had a good time and hope you join us again next year. Thank you so much for telling us what happened for you and allowing us the opportunity to explain.
