Roar Pedal & What Is This????

Since I installed the Roar Pedal throttle controller, I've been adjusting it to see how it responds to different settings.

I decided to go a bit more aggressive and set it at Sport+ Mode with the sensitivity turned up to max.

Takes a bit of getting used to... the slightest pressure on the pedal and it goes!

Love it, but probably not for everybody.

For those of you contemplating purchasing and installing one of these electronic throttle controllers to remove the 'lag' inherent in our cars, or any cars with 'drive by wire', they are fully adjustable. From stock mode to full race mode and 50+ settings in between.

BTW... I don't work for Roar Pedal, just a happy customer of their product!

I was curious as to what was behind the 2 access covers on either side of the rear interior hatchback. The passenger side was wiring harness and connections, but the driver's side was this....

The top photo shows a 'module with an internal fan behind the grill.

Below that is a finned metal module.

Any ideas what these are?

Enoy those Minis!

Thats the audio amp with the fins, most likely Harman Kardon amp.

We just carry sprint booster which was the original MINI Cooper pedal module. Never heard of that other company.

The top photo has a small fan attached at the end of the device... maybe the ECU?
The second photo (not very good) shows a different device that is finned... is that the audio amp?

I do have a Harmon Kardon sound system in my MIni, which sounds fantastic!

Roar Pedal is just one of many aftermarket electronic throttle controllers available....

Still waiting patiently for more aftermarket parts to become available for this 4th gen Mini....

Thanks for the reply ECSTuning....

Thanks, ECS...

Both units are part of the Harmon Kardon audio. I wouldn't have guess that.

That is a very good looking Eventuri intake.
I might have to consider it as an early Christmas present to myself!
