Eventual Bimmercode support?

Has anyone heard anything about whether we will get Bimmercode support eventualy? A bit concerned with so many underlying changes (Android-based OS, for example) that we might not get it for our platform.

Hi @elkay there hasn’t been a BimmerCode update in a while.

Here’s their email address and maybe it’s already in the works 🤔

info@bimmercode.app

Have a great day and enjoy your new MINI

I did reach out and they said, as expected, that because of the change to the new platform there are encryptions and other technology hurdles that will likely never be overcome. They are, however, working on a new plug and play adapter solution that should be able to unlock some features on this new platform. They didn't have any further details to share at this time.

I definitely hope they do.

Has anyone sent an email to Bimmercode lately? If not, I will send them a quick ping to see if there are any updates.

I had done some recent Google searches but haven't directly reach out. Feel free to go for it and let us know what comes of it! :-)

I got a response from Bimmercode yesterday and the answer is the same. It doesn't look like they will support coding for the new generation of MINIs/BMWs. I guess we'll have to see if any other company can crack the new system for mod. Too bad MINI locked things down, it was such a great user app to make our MINIs a little more unique.

Unfortunately the response that I expected. Let's hope it's not so locked down that someone else can't figure it out eventually.
