For the new F66's is there a good way to shift to a lower/higher gear while spirited/sporty driving? Does any model still have the paddles? I've heard that they're no longer on the S model - do we have to wait for the JCW's?. Thanks.

 

I was told by the dealer that only JCW's will have paddle shifters. Salesperson wasn't sure if you could just add them to an S or you'd have to change the whole steering wheel.

 

There is a way, but it's not ideal. Gabe from MotoringFile made a video about it:

 

YIKES, that is horrible!

 

They posted an article yesterday saying that shift paddles are coming back as an option for the 5 door, so maybe the 3 door will follow suit.
