I was over at Tapoco helping with the chili cook off set up. Since I wasn't going to be able to attend I felt that I should help with set-up, one should support the home club! The skies opened up about halfway thru the set up and all hands were needed to hold things together for a bit. As soon as it looked like I the set-up was to the point where the organizers needed to take over I scooted over to the photo op, but apparently just missed y'all. I was really bummed to say the least.
I already have my reservations for next year, and have already made mental commitments to what I really want to do next year. Hopefully we can try again.
Can't wait to see pics,
Annette

We only had four show up, but the pictures are really nice. I can't wait to see what Paul comes up with. The fog rolling over the tops of the hills (mountains) was really eery and neat.

Sorry I couldn't make it either... I had to make a run to Robbinsville for some things for the BBQ. We'll have to try again next year!

Hey everyone, I have the pix. I need to edit in photoshop and will post a version I'm happy with this week.

Annette, It was nice meeting you at the swap. I'm sorry you weren't able to make it to the group photo, but we'll all be back next year, I'm sure. I hope you and your husband enjoy all the beer that the two of you collected

If I take a drive down to Houston, maybe I can 'find' a set of 18' JCW wheels... that would REALLY make Jango slick!

YOu will see how nice I'm being when I "find" a new set of JCWs and you "find" a new set of concrete blocks under your car!

Just look at the size of those things! I've got wheel envy!

Hello agranger,

I was just admiring pics of your pw... she is beautiful! What did you do to the front end? My mini also has the "full" aero kit... but the dealer forgot to put the top part on the front. I really like the way yours looks. The pic in your gallery shows a full aero kit, but not what you have now... what's the deal? It looks really sharp... especially all pw! Very classic look

I'm way off topic here, but it's not like it hasn't been done before on NAM!

The pic in the gallery was a photoshop of what I had planned to do way back before I ordered the car. Unfortunately, I could only find a PW/Black MCS w/ the full aerokit and painted arches to start with... I had to white out the roof/mirror caps, add the driving lights and re-skin the wheels.

The Aerokit is cool, but I dislike the rear aero bumper (with the stickers... STICKERS! WTF?) and the front aero bumper is a bit agressive for me. I love the side sills from the aerokit, so I swapped out for those. (you can buy 'em separately at www.outmotoring.com)

This is what Jango might have been...
