are you all subtracting the people who have to bail out?.. (there's a thread at the top).. just curious.. 600+ people is totaly insanity! This is gonna be GREAT!
No, I'm not... the count is the total number of REGISTERED people... in that thread you mentioned, there are 12 people who are on the registration list but unable to make it. There may also be others who haven't announced it (or reminded) me... but if you subtract 12, the 609 falls to 597... but I think we'll have at least 3 more before registration closes.
Thanks, however it appears that registrations are still available through the store.
Although the announcement said April 29, the registration didn't technically close until a little after 10am EST this morning... but it IS closed now, and the final count of pre-registered attendees is 612. Latecomers will be able to purchase registrations at the desk, but they will not recieve a pre-printed badge. We will have a limited number of "blank" badges that we can either write on or use a label printer to add info to.
Wouldn't you love to see a satellite photo of that? It would have to be in the winter - no leaves in the way.
PhotoShop wizards: Challenge!
That can be done, i know there are a few of the Sat photo companies where you can give them GPS coordinates and they'll take the photo at your specified time and it'll be MUCH better and closer quality than anything you see on Google Earth or Maps.
Its costly, but when you consider 600 people in one location its not bad. I think a sat photo like that costs around $250+ last time i checked. Would be kool to have a large group spell out "MINI" over by the damn for the satalite photo. I could imagine MINIUSA would end up using the photo on the main site too.
