Just for you newbies. When you get to Fontana, you can forget your cell phones. You won't get out.
I never see a tv while up there but take lap tops and PSP, Xbox and this year will take my Xbox 360 along with at least 2 LCD tv monitors and about 40 dvd movies. Several friends plan to take them, too. We usually will have a gamers party at some point.
Just a thought.

There's no cell phone, no PC's, no anything but me, my MCS, good friends and fun.

And Fontana Village is on Hwy. 28, by the Little Tennessee River near the Fontana Dam, approachable from Robbinsville via 143 to 28, or from 129 (the Dragon).
www.tailofthedragon.com is the place for those unfamiliar to visit. Be sure to click on the lodging and map links at the very bottom of the home page. Most of the planned activities emanate from Fontana Village and Tapoco Lodge.
This year, MOTD (MINIs on the Dragon) is May 4 - May 7. SOOOOOOOON!

SNDWAVE said, "I'm glad I go many more times a year to the Dragon than just May.
There's no cell phone, no PC's, no anything but me, my MCS, good friends and fun. "
I, too, am glad I live not far from The Dragon and visit many times a year including the annual MOTD which is one of the best times a MINI owner can have. Now, if we can just keep the drunks from finding this place, maybe everybody will get home safely this year, unlike last year.
