Bike Rack for hitch

I looked and didn't see a reference to a bike rack here in the forums. I need one to carry a minimum of 3 bikes, which likely means a 4-bike carrier. The hitch is 1 1/4 inches, but I suppose there would be no harm in using the 1 1/4 inch to 2-inch adaptor. Anyone have a preference of one that has given you good service and is easy to use? Thanks.

Hello, I picked up a Haul-Master 1.25 to 2 adapter at Harbor Freights. I also have three bikes. The only difference is my bike rack is for three bikes. I did add a anti-rattle just make sure the least amount of movement. So far all okay. Hope this inform helps your decision.

Hitch mount bike rack.

I recently purchased a Thule brand rack. Mine is for 2 bikes only, but Thule makes other racks that carry more bikes. The reason I am recommending the brand is that it has some very nice features:

The hitch pin is integrated with the hitch, is tightened by hand (no tools needed) and also has an integrated lock.
It is a platform rack with folding arms that make it easy to get the bikes on without having to lift them over a mast. The arms also have integrated locks keyed to match the hitch pin.
The rack tilts away from the back of the vehicle making it possible to access your rear hatch area with the bikes on the rack.

Anyone interested in the 2-bike model it is the "Out Pace" rack. It is very light weight and compact. I am 5'1" and can lift it into place easily.
