I deactivated the fake engine noise and noticed the engine sounds a bit like a coffee maker-percolator, best description I can give. sort of loose exhaust sound. Getting it checked next week.
Do you folks notice the same thing?

 

I'm seeing on other post that the B48 engine has a waste gate rattle. Anyone else experiencing this?

wild the amount of fake noise through the speakers! You can actually feel it when switching on/off if you put your hand on a speaker.

 

I'm glad someone pointed out the fake engine noise. On my 2022 JCW Hardtop, I had it disabled via Bimmerlink. It was really annoying then. I didn't notice it near as much in my 2026 Countryman, but I certainly know that I don't hear it now, since I have turned it off. Who's bright idea was it to have fake engine noise?
