This is from this last weekend off the Tail of the Dragon web site.

APRIL 23, Saturday: Snow on the Cherohala at mid-day. We saw a number of bikers on the downhill escape run and a few unknowing riders headed uphill. Might be some accumulation on the Cherohala tonight. TN HP Troopers had a rally on the Dragon .... 2 cars and 3 bikes. Almost more Troopers than traffic. TN tax money at waste. The Dragon should be clean but chilly on Sunday.

The rule of thumb in this part of the country at this time of year is, "if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute."

Here are the National Weather Service links to Knoxville.

This is the radar http://weather.noaa.gov/radar/loop/D.../si.kmrx.shtml

And this is the sort of long term forcast http://www.erh.noaa.gov/ifps/MapClic...te=NC&site=GSP

Hope this helps keeping everyone updated.

See everyone soon.

Cheers,
Jack
