F60 Replacing Front Left Plastic Arch
Replacing Front Left Plastic Arch
I have a 2023 Countryman, and the front left wheel arch trim has been stained/scratched from a vehicle swiping it. I have tried trim dressings and many other products, and it will not return to black. I believe my only other option would be to replace it. Since the trim pieces aren't too expensive, I was wondering how difficult it would be to replace it myself. I have had no luck finding any information online regarding how to do this, and I was wondering if anyone could give advice.
I've attached a photo just for reference. https://imgur.com/a/zToT2Ip

Sorry I can,t get the photos posted but here is the instructions
At area at rear of front wheel housing below bottom of arch, loosen 1 screw and 1 clip and release the front of the side sill trim panel a few inches back.
Loosen 9 rivets on underside of arch.
Release 1 latch mechanism (at front joint of arch) and 8 snap in clips (around the top edge of the arch) holding arch to fender metal
Unlock and disconnect light
Remove arch trim
