I am trying to replacd the alternator on my wife's mini and runninv into some issues.
The bottom E10 bolt partially stripped and the 8mm 12 point wrench is slipping. I know its an E10 bolt, but i am trying to do this without losing A/C pressure.
i have the tensioner off and the only thing thats in the way is the A/C line.
i thought about trying to unbolt the A/C compressor and move it, but the second bolt is behind the A/C line.
And the A/C line is all meetql line that wraps to the left back side of the engine. Upper left bolt is Alternator. Lower right is A/C Compressor bolt behind A/C line.
