Question AfterMarket Tailgate

I was able to install an aftermarket electronic tailgate on my F60 Mini CountryMan.The Kit made connections to the Tail Gate switch on the rear trunk space-Rt side.I am able to open & close the tail gate with the Key fob button.I want to know if i can get the BMW software to recognise this aftermarket kit as part of its product F60 & for me, being able to close the tailgate when the lock button is pressed on the key fob, along with the doors.I want to also see the many other options for the electronic tail gate on the BMW MINI Dash screen. Is this possible with some coding?.Can anyone advice?.Thanks.

I have a MINI COOPER COUNTRYMAN F60 2018 and my machine did not come with an "automatic power tailgate".I had installed an aftermarket vehicle specific tailgate kit and it works well & as intended.I am now having great difficulty to get a "Foot Activated Kick sensor" to work with my car!.I have tried almost 4 different types of kits and all of them..are not able to function as intended.I double checked all the connections and yet am not able to get the automatic tailgate to swing open when i swipe my foot underneath it!.Does anyone know if MINI has something on the tailgate switch that prevents the "aftermarket foot kick sensors" from working?.Does anyone know if there is a specific aftermarket kick sensor/foot activated kit that can actually serve my purpose?.Please help.

This kit asks that U make 4 connections.
#1 is the 12v Ignition Line.
#2 to a Ground.
#3 to the Original Tailgate Latch Trigger wire.
**The 4th is the ACC wire connection which U must ignore in order for this kit to work on a MINI COOPER COUNTRYMAN F60.
#1 The Kick sensor opens & closes tailgate if I have the Keyfob on me when the car is locked.
#2 The kick sensor opens & closes even if i do Not have the Keyfob on me & the Car is unlocked.

Hi, I have a 2018 MINI Cooper CountryMan F60 and recently retrofit a SmartTrunk Opener/OEM TailGate sensor into my car.

The Red wire is Power & The Brown wire is Ground. Where do i connect the Signal Wire?.
The module of the sensor has 3 wires with one each connecting to the 12v & Ground & the last to ?LIN bus.
I am not sure what this LIN module wiring is and where exactly the Signal wire from the Kick sensor is supposed to connect to.

Can U help me with this retrofit project, please?. Thanks.
