Plug n play remote start???

My wife has a 2017 Countryman S All4 and I would like to add a remote start.

What would be the best bang for the buck option?

A system that is plug n play and preferably utilizes the factory fob would be awesome!

I dont think you can, well, I just assuming you cant because I asked about adding an aftermarket alarm and the installer said that the Mini’s are they only cars they wont install stuff on because the wiring is such a mess

You can’t. I bought a while kit thinking it’s an easy install then every installer said it’s very very difficult on the 3rd gens. So now I’m stuck with a kit I can’t use.

Yep, is one of those set ups. BMW/MINI did have a system which then went NLA due to some issues. If they come out with a new system I will post up.

This is the system that I was going to suggest. I wonder what the "issues" were? Did anyone here on the forums get it installed?

@6FT6
did you ever install the Eurostart? I’m thinking of doing the same.

Thanks. I found a place that was going to do it for $1400 Cad with the fob, but my dealer strongly advised against it. I’ll be taking their advice and passing as well.
