Need help getting aftermarket backup sensor

We just got our S last week. Yes I know it is small, but we live in NYC and we need backup sensors.

It is a non-nav S. Any suggestion for an aftermarket system?

Google 'MINI cooper aftermarket backup sensor' and you'll find this:

Hope you can make it work. Limited rear visibility by virtue of the cabrio layout, the BU system is a valuable asset as I'm sure it will be for you.

BTW, spend some time checking out the Vendor Directory. You will find a gold mine of possibilities there. Some of them I have saved into my MINI favorites folder. One you won't find there that everybody should have available is http://soopercooperinfo.com/ It has thousands of links to everything MINI you can think of.

You won't. The signal is electrical and hard wired to a beeper not RF transmitted.
Here's another link that may be of help.

I saw one for the countryman the other day on EBAY. It's a rear view mirror replacement with a built in monitor for a camera that goes in the back of the car. It was a complete kit.
