Hey there folks,

My mother drives a '16 F60 withOUT xenon headlights and isn't happy with the brightness of her stock headlights. After some research, I purchased a replacement set of Philips Visionplus H13/9008 bulbs that we're planning to swap in today or tomorrow. My question, however, is regarding daytime running lights. We're uncertain whether her Countryman has DRL's (were they standard in '16?) and if so, do they run off the stock headlights. Trying to ascertain whether she has them, and if so, what the impact on the lifespan of the replacement bulbs might be.

I understand that swapping the bulbs will impact the longevity, but if it makes her night driving easier, it's a trade off we're willing to make — unless these bulbs will run the DRL's and massively decrease the lifespan, in which case we may want to rethink.

Any help? Thanks!
