Navigation Glitch

Hey all. I have a dealer model 2018 Countryman S (mostly new vehicle that had about 7K miles on it driven for the dealership).

I am encountering a glitch with the navigation system, but I can't seem to find any consistency as to WHEN or WHY it's glitching.

What happens is I choose a destination and navigation begins. My HUD continues to show me the directions with no issue. But the navigation display starts cycling through options and views. I'm not touching the selection wheel or any buttons. But it will cycle over to different views or different options and then give me a choice to return to current location or view destination.

The closest to a consistent reason I can find is maybe when it gets cloudy it's getting lost on the GPS, but that's a stretch because I've driven in heavy cloud cover and had no issue. Another culprit COULD be Carplay, but, again, just a guess.

Has anyone else had this issue? Known issue? Known fix? If the system is faulty, is this covered under warranty and I just take it in and tell them the navigation is broken?

Any help is welcome. Thanks!

hahaha. I wish that was the case. I actually moved that to the back because it was in the way of the only space for my glasses. Lol
