Joining the CM club

I ordered a 2019 CM JCW today to replace my 2015 F55. The dealer was able replace one of their allotments so I already have a production number. Now the wait begins.

Given the date of your message, your order went in almost exactly 1 year after my 2018 JCW order (7/5/2018). It took them to about the last week of August to start the build. Lots of delays after that. I finally received it early October on the East coast. It was a tough wait. Hopefully yours will be smooth sailing.

Today my MINI's status was updated from on order to scheduled for production. I am not sure what that means as far as the wait is concerned, but it sounds encouraging.

The wait is the hardest part. Congrats on the CM.

If you haven't already done so, look at this FAQ for info about how to track your order.

Congratulations, waiting and tracking is fun and frustrating. Most manufacturing in the Netherlands take a two week break end of July and early August. I would assume NedCar factory will be down also.

Congratulations and welcome! In the meantime, watch the YouTube videos of the 2019 Mini range production line. Amazing how few humans are involved.

Cool

It is finally finished. The order was placed on 7/7 production completed on 8/16. Now I just have to wait for my MINI to swim across the Atlantic. The born on date is: August 16 2018.

My MINI is finally on it's way, after sitting on the dock for almost a month. Yay!

It was supposed to be a birthday present for myself, but it doesn't look like that's going to happens since my b-day is today.
It has been 65 days since the day I ordered the MINI, but who's counting?

Made it to the VDC. YAY! Won't be long now. I hope. Days since ordered: 78

BTW this site is great for tracking ships, if you know which ship your MINI is on. https://www.marinetraffic.com/

From order to the dealership in 80 days, just like that Jules Verne novel. Getting it's last checkup and waiting for tint and clear bra application. Should be ready on Tuesday.

Finally at the dealer.
