Wheel Rotation - What Works Best?

Running stock P225/45WR19 Bridgestone Potenza max performance summer runflats on our 2018 F60 (haven't gone 1000 miles yet; all road touring). I know the front tires will wear quickly, so I want to equalize the wear as best I can with the optimum rotation practice. Is the consensus not to exceed 4000 miles in a rotation cycle? Is it a straight front/rear rotation pattern (no left/right swaps)? Which front axle is the normally driven one? Thanks!

Unless they are directional (Have an Arrow pointing 1 way with "Rotation" on it) you should rotate them in an X pattern.

I think all the tires I've owned in the last 10 years have been directional so I just do a front to back with each season change on all my vehicles (I have a snow set and summer set).
