Looking for an undamaged set of side scuttles for the F60 - if anyone has replaced theirs and wants to get some $$ out of their original set, let me know.

 

What is a side scuttle?

 

The awful chrome-y pentagram things on the fenders, in the first pic.

As I was searching for that pic, I came across the second pic, of the all-black scuttle. Apparently these are the scuttles on the base model F60 - I have to assume they fit the S, so I know what I’m ordering tomorrow!

 

Can you provide the model # for those base black scuttles? Can't seem to find them anywhere

Does anyone know how to remove these scuttles? Asking for a friend.

There are five clips that secure the scuttle to the car. Three on the back edge near the door, and two on the front edge near where the scuttle comes to a point. I found it easiest to open the door, pop the three clips on that edge, then the two at the front. Use a plastic trim removal tool (spudger) and put something (thin towel, old t-shirt, couple layers of painters' tape) over the edge of the bodywork that you're prying against. They pop off pretty easily. Once they're off, you can push the silver clips to release the "chrome" trim ring.
