Fortunately each trim piece came with all five clips (51467453747) as they're a somewhat unreasonable $3.25 each!

Although I think the molded-in mounts on the back of the trim that these clips fit into might give up before the clips do.

Your local dealer can order it, though I actually ordered mine through MINI of Montgomery County's eBay store back in August, added in with the black headlight and taillight trim. They cut me a great deal on the grille and and grille/hood seal (not sure if you can pull your current one off and reuse or not, but for $30 it wasn't worth it for me to try) and free shipping and no tax.

There were supply issues early on, but I'd think by now they're readily available.

Install is harder than the head/tail trim, but not bad - remove the 7-8 torx bolts on top, then it's just a matter of pressing the tabs on the trim away from the tabs on the body that hold them in. I used a long-shaft nut driver to reach in and press the bottom row of tabs - not a lot of room back there to get my hands in - that was the only tricky part.

Yep, ordered mine through my local dealership. Just call the parts dept. and tell them the part number and they'll order it for you.

Nice job w/ the badge removal - that's on my list for the next warm-ish weekend (so... probably not until spring.) So much cleaner without all that clutter on the back.

Yup, the 17 Mile Drive has awesome views no matter which way you look ! Driving a Cooper on it is the icing on the cake. Sad about the wildfires in your area. Stay safe ! De-badging was an option when I ordered the CM. I believe the uncluttered look is better and cleaning/detailing is a breeze.

Yeah I must agree - the clean rear looks nice. I may leave Cooper S on there and remove COUNTRYMAN.

haha I removed the cooper S and kept the countryman. I like symmetry. I think eventually I'll remove the countryman too.

I'm glad to see a dedicated F60 area up here. Here were the most recent photos on a late fall trip...before it went back to winter mode. :(

More changes coming for 2018...

I'll play.

Got this at the end of April. I thought it would be more silver than this. I was originally disappointed in the color as all of my cars have been silver but this has grown on me. At least it's in the silver family.

Picked up my F60 JCW this past weekend. Absolutely LOVE it!!!

These past 2 months of waiting have been tough. Had a few nights where I couldn't sleep b/c I thought I made the wrong decision with the color, options, etc.

Color - Ended up with a MWG with Chili Red Roof. After basing my decision on this color combo off a F56, I realized that the combo for some reason just looked a bit different on a F60 (based on online searches). Then I see other F60 colors people post and I feel like I totally will regret my choice. Nope, it looked sooooo much better in person. To anyone debating on colors and thinking they made the wrong choice, know that some of these online pictures don't do it justice.

Suspension - I chose DDC instead of the JCW sport suspension. Right after i ordered, I felt like I made a mistake on this and was trying to change but it was too late. After driving the car this weekend, the DDC was definitely the right move. Although I wouldn't mind a little stiffer setting, my wife was complaining that it was too stiff. So I guess I'll compromise. It does feel like the sway bar needs an upgrade though. I wonder if they use a different bar between DDC suspension and JCW suspension.

A few random initial observations:

1. You MUST get the Harmon Kardon upgrade. It makes such a huge difference (but maybe my prior cars just had awful systems). One of my 'absolute must' options on the MINIs.

2. I have the wireless charging. I think I got in and out of my car about 15 times this weekend. On 14 of those occasions I left the phone in the charger. DOH!! Something I will definitely need to get used to.

3. Garage opener was also a must for me as I try to MINImize clutter in the car. Followed the instruction manual but I think they leave out a step. Finally youtubed and it worked. That wasted a good half hour of my time this weekend.

I was so nervous about the day I would have to pick up the car due to my concerns with the above that I almost even thought about just leasing instead of buying this car knowing it wasn't the perfect car for me. After seeing it and driving it this weekend, I know this is a keeper.

The only outstanding issue I had was (for your californians) whether I should have gotten the black legacy license plates or stick with the standard white. I chose white as I thought the yellow font would clash with the Grey and red. Hm..still wondering though how it would have looked...

I'm going to delay posting a pic until I get my black trim and stripes added this week. Stay tuned!

Almost exactly the same as mine! I felt just as you do. Think of it as "gunmetal gray," and you'll feel better about it. It HAS grown on me, in the meantime.

Interesting foot pack you choose there. Was it recommended by the store/shop you bought it from? (Thule website recommend their Rapid Crossroad foot pack via there fitting apps)

Is those the Aeroblade 47inch?

Very nice looking car!
