I can give my dealers phone number, the parts guy was super cool, I'm sure he can ship it to you. Might just cost extra for out of the country. I'm sure since i ordered mine last week, he'll remember. Let me know!
I just got a quote from my dealer in VA and they said there were 180 of them on hand!
Would it be worth it to try and rattle can the stock, or shell out $300....something to ponder.
I'm going to be receiving my SE towards the end of the year, which will have a yellow 'S' logo, so I wonder if there is a way to swap over the yellow from stock onto the black version, replacing the red one. Or I wonder if there is a separate yellow S all black grill part available.

If you want to remove all external chrome parts, there are two big chrome shields on both sides you may need to replace as well
Ryan, that is one beautiful car. I have to tell you though, I am strongly biased. I pick up my Melting tomorrow. Finally, after 3 months plus a week. Can’t wait!!

Thanks. We we're a little iffy on the color when we picked it out of the first batch of cars our dealer spec'd. Neither my wife or I are fans of silver but I gotta say that this color doesn't appear silver at all. I think all the black helps it also.
I finally had a chance to take some pictures. My JCW is 1 week old today!
Looks gorgeous sitting in your driveway with matching red trim around garage doors Happy "one week" Birthday! Hope you put some good miles on it already

I had forgotten about the red trim around the garage doors and on the shutters until I started looking at these pictures. I had painted that trim at least 20 years ago. Obviously I have a "thing" about red.
Only 250 miles so far. I haven't even put gas in the tank.

LOL! Thought you might have painted the red trim to welcome home your new JCW while you were waiting..and waiting..waiting! Long time coming and I'm sure you're enjoying every minute while your driving it
I'm at 560 miles so far. Having trouble keeping it out of sport mode!!!! Too much fun
Your Melting is an interesting color. The first two pictures (front shots) clearly show a hint of bronze in the color, while most of the other ones clearly look silver. Very nice.

I agree. It looks very nice...but I can't help but keep thinking it is bronze and not silver. I keep asking myself why is it bronze when it's called Melting Silver???

It is a chameleon and changes in different light. The metalic flake seems to reflect in different ways. Some times it looks very silver and others more gold. I enjoy it- like watching how the sea changes colors in different light.

I felt that way, too, but I think the best description is "gunmetal gray," which it kind of is. Now I see that, more than bronze.

Ours are really similar, right down to the MY steering wheel (which I'm SOOO glad I went for!). The only difference is that I did the anthracite headliner and satellite grey interior.
