Thanks!! Yes they are the Black LED lights. They were installed at the dealership. Got them for free since we had to wait so long for the car.

I have the black LED driving lights ordered for my Melting, which should get here in a week or so. Long journey!

How do you like the driving lights? Do they perform well- a lot of additional light?

You got a great deal getting them free. These babies aren't cheap!!

Haven't really tested them yet. Sucks that they only come on with the highbeams. Hopefully I can change the coding.

I hope so too, as that is what I would like to do. If not, I will probably install my own switch.

Do you mind telling me how you got your side scuttles out? I removed the rain tray thing under the hood to access them, but wasn't sure how to remove them without breaking tabs.

and did you just paint yours gloss black?

TIA

In a futile attempt to control the affect of a Chicago winter on the Countryman, I installed mud flaps over the weekend. At least they look good...

This is going to have to suffice as my photo for a while... production is scheduled to complete tomorrow, so hopefully we're 4-6 weeks from delivery!

I got them from AliExpress. They fit “ok” (little gap in the middle where there is the black grill) but for $40, I’ll do for now... until more products come available for the F60. I am still waiting for a black grill surround to come up!

Thanks!

I have the black grill, you can order it from the dealer. I can get you the part number if you're interested? It's pricey though, little over $300

How did you get your scuttles out? Did the ones from AliExpress come with instructions?

Never mind, I just saw they were an overlay, not a replacement.

It's raining here, so I couldn't get a good pic.

The part number is:

51.71.2.414.980 for the Cooper S black grill ($317 without hood gasket)

(The JCW and base Cooper one have different part numbers.)

My parts guy said before I ordered mine that there was only 7 more in the U.S. available. He was also mind blown when I gave him that part number and the black grill showed up. He said he's never seen them before even in the US catalogs.

Just oredered it! Thanks again for the part number.

Unfortunately, it is BO in the main warehouse in Germany, so I was told it could take up to 1 month (or more)
