Hello everyone. This is Grumpy. Me and my wife have had such an amazing experience with out 2017 Countryman. From Mini Takes the States 2018 (can't wait to do 2020) to random trips of getting in the car and going wherever, I could not figure out another car that would be as awesome as this one. The 88 is the number I have on all of my cars and the smaller stickers are all of the events I have attended with the Mini and Hooked on Driving Northeast. As always, it has its quirks and I still wish it had a heated steering wheel, but aside from the few things, what an amazing car.
Meet Beluga, our new addition to the family. It's a 2019 MY with just 6 miles on the clock ! We also have the R53 in the pix both are wifey's and the F60 is our daily driver
Apparently Island Blue with white roof and oak interior is really hard to find. I didn’t know that since I had seen a couple others when I lived in San Francisco.
How do you like the low profile Thule crossbars? I'm using the Whispbars from Yakima and noticed that because they're so low, I couldn't use the sunroof with out a bunch of noise.

@stockishgrumpyman your car looks great. I just bought a 2019, and I have two Thule Sidearm XT's up top as well. Im curious which cross bars you are using? Im using the Thule Aeroblade Edge. Love the bars, not a massive fan of the wraparound mounts. Thanks.
It's a local Toronto shop called Neo Motorsports. It's taken some time to get the ride and figment right since it isn't off the shelf. I was considering BC since I had them on my Forester but went with these guys because they are so close and would be less of a problem getting replacement parts when it comes to repairs.
Didn't realize how much would be involved by adding coilovers ie needing spacers, and rear camber arms.

I'm using a pair of Whispars from Yakima, which are not available anymore. They have that low profile look but are not intended for the Mini because of how low they sit over the roof. Sunroof has less than 1/8" of clearance if I didn't make some adjustments. Plus I think it causes more wind noise with the sunroof open or closed so I had to add a custom bracket for the wind fairing to fit in front of the sunroof.
I like the Thule but that black band looks awkward unless I had black rails.

I've started to add darkness and remove chrome. Black emblems on, chrome lettering in the back removed. Front window tint added. Headlight and taillight rings either plastidipped or wrapped are up next.
