I apologize if some of y'all are tired of seeing my F60, but I recently applied some new graphics that I wanted to share. They were inspired from some of the MINI X-Raid Rally Team livery.
Back in a Mini Countryman after two years. A 2020 Mini Cooper S Countryman. I just noticed they no longer put Cooper S badge on the back, strange to me. mine did not have the Cooper S badge on the back door. I called the dealer and am getting one now. I never thought I would like the larger size of Mini when I heard about the change a few years ago but I do like it. Headed for a cross country trip next week. I love this car. I guess I am going to have to change my user name now. LOL

You can still be cosmic blue. You are going so fast in your S that the doppler shift makes it look cosmic blue. 😜
What better place to take a photo of your "Bucket List" Mini Countryman other than a cemetery ;-) @Midnight Blue
Finally after much indecision on color and options.... ;-) I actually ordered the car with no black bonnet stripes and the 18" pair spoke alloy wheels but changed my mind right before the car arrived at the dealer. Yes it cost me $1400 dollars to switch to the black spoke wheels but I simply like this look better. Actually wanted black roof rails however that only was available with the Iconic trim which then gives you leather sport seats. Sport seats simply do not fit my back comfortably being 6'4" / 255 lbs. Was very close to ordering the white silver as I really like that color also.
Note: Also attached is a Boardwalk Edition MC that arrived the same day my MC came in. Really glad that car had sport seats as it narrowed my last minute decision easy ;-) My problem is that I simply like most all Mini's.
Geocaching in a Cemetery Sage Green Metallic Wilderness Center in Wilmot Ohio Wilderness Center in Wilmot Ohio Classic Mini of Ohio Black wheels after much indecision.
Complicating my final decision was this beautiful Boardwalk Edition that just arrived at the dealer when mine came in ;-)
Thanks Midnight! I really like the car however I still would like to have the bottom panel and roof rails in black. I actually asked about changing the roof rails at the dealership and they quoted me $2000 considering the work involved. They actually suggested getting them painted instead which I believe would create issues with the lease. In the event that I keep this MC, I may decide to have them painted. You actually have me thinking that simply leasing every 3 years may be a better idea rather than purchasing the vehicle at lease end.
FWIW, I'm with you on how you feel about the shift mechanism on the new MC. It does take a bit of getting use to especially simply pushing the P button for Park regardless of where the shifter is. Also not sure how how I feel about the digital instrument RPM/Fuel/Info screen compared to our 2016 Mini F57. The wireless CarPlay is a very nice feature.
Just curious, as a long time MCS owner since 2011, how do you feel about the evolution of this vehicle? In other words, was there a previous model that you like better than your 2021? The reason I ask is that our Gen 3 Mini (2016 R57) is significantly better than our 2005 and 2009 models. If it weren't for the positive experience we've had with our 2016, I would have never gone on to lease our current MC.
Thanks again for all your input and insight. You saved me a considerable amount of money by not getting the lease protection. We also take very good care of our vehicles. Just wasn't sure how particular Mini was on lease turn ins.
Just got him today. 2021 Countryman JCW in Thunder Gray. Definitely need to black out those headlight surrounds but otherwise I am fairly pleased with the look. Wife and I really enjoyed the delivery process and the return trip. This is a nifty car!
