I have a 2012 R60 that the motor is junk in it and I went out and bought a 2013 n18 replacement engine not knowing that the 2013 has a different fuel pump. With it having the different fuel pump you have to do a bunch of programming stuff that I’m not really interested in learning to do for this project. My question is for all the gear heads out there. Is the only difference between the 2013 and the 2012 n18 intake cam the HPFP drive end? Can I take the intake cam out of a 2012 N18 head and put it in the 2013? Is the lift and duration all the same? Is the bearing size the same.

 

seriously im the only person that has made this bone head mistake! Any help would be useful. i guess ill have to figure this out the hard way! everything is out to the machine shop getting prepped for the rebuild. hopefully within the week ill have an answer for every one.
