Back in a R60

I previously had a 2013 Justa that I sold back in 2018. I just picked up a 2012 All4 that has the low boost codes. The dealer diagnosed that it needed a new turbo and gave her a $5400 Cdn estimate. This after they charged her $3900 for a new timing chain and vanos gears. She decided to offload it and I got it for a great price. So, I have seen turbos for $300ish (ebay) all the way to $1500. I will mostly be using the car for highway driving approximately 70 miles per day. Would I be OK with the lower cost option or is there potentially issues with quality control?
