R60 Choosing Coilovers
Hello all!
I have been looking to buy a set of coilovers for my R60! I am still fairly new to putting anything but OEM on my car. As such, the car is bone stock save for the brakes. My budget is in the range of $600-$1200, but I am patient and I am willing to wait a little longer for that to go up a touch.
I have been between two coilovers:
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I have been between two coilovers:
Mono Maxx Coilover Adjustable Dampening : Godspeed Project MMX3540
Euro Street Series II Coilover Damper Kit MR-CDK-MCC11
They are similarly priced, ~$1000. I like that these are adjustable with height and damping as I live VT USA where the roads are either dirt, under construction, covered in snow, and/or falling apart so being able to keep OE ride height 90% of the time and fooling around the other 10% is a good selling point for me.Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Suspension, especially springs or coilovers is one area you don't want to go cheap. Unless you don't care about ride quality and just want looks. That being said the only sub $1K coilovers I'd suggest are BC Racing. They come with front camber plates which is really helpful for alignment. Plus the springs don't suck so you'll get a decent ride quality. I have them on my 04 R53. They are a bit stiff but not harsh. I wanted something a bit smoother for the R60 and went with the KW V2 coilovers. I am truly happy I did. The ride is better than OEM even on 19" wheels. They don't come with the front camber plates like the BC. But in my opinion the KW are worth every penny.
